The band released their first new album for eight years 'Neighborhoods' previous month, the band split in 2005 after guitarist Tom DeLonge left the band and Barker also revealed that the band were embraced each other for months before DeLonge announced his departure.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, the drummer blamed tour burnout for the fallout, saying: "You're playing shows every day and you're doing tour after tour like we were ten years ago, and there's no communication. Everyone's burnt. The air was so thick around us back in the day you could cut it with a knife. It was so bad right before we broke up."

The drummer also said that as the "Actions" Mark Hoppus and DeLonge days after their plane crash in 2008 came to visit, which the band have said was crucial in bringing them return together, they reconnected immediately, despite having not spoken for some time.

He added: "When we look back now, after my crash when Tom and Mark finally came to my house, about thirty seconds went by and Tom and Mark are telling dick jokes. It's like, 'Look, you dickheads didn't talk to each other for six years and now everything's completely fine.' You realize how petty some of the shit was we were all fighting over".

Asked if Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge broke the band after the bitterness of his close friends were able to rebuild.

Barker said that although he never saw anyone Hoppus and DeLonge were once as close, relations were still very good.

He said: "Well, those two were like husband and wife back in the day. I'd always tell them that I'd never seen two males that weren't homosexual so close. And no diss to homosexual people. I like heterosexual people, homosexual people, whatever. But I'd never seen two friends so close or anything like how Mark and Tom were. I always played the middle between them. And I still do. I'm really close to Mark and I'm really close to Tom. It's like a couple, but there's three of us".

He says: “The album is amazing. If you like our music it’s our best work by far.

“It’s very modern and very relevant to rock music today. But we made sure to throw a couple of songs in there that sound like they’re from the mid-90s. It’s gigantic – it’s made for big places.”

Blink 182's Travis Barker: "I think we’ll turn in our album in June or July"

Blink 182 after eight years - an album has been released, but drummer Travis Barker said the party has completed five new songs and fan them to their new album this summer Can expect the wrap.

According to the MTV that Barker told in this week, “I think we’ll turn in our album in June or July, honestly, and, I mean, the stuff’s awesome. It’s coming close, to the point where these are completed songs and they’re not going to change. These are album versions … I wish I could play everyone the songs now. Like I said, they sound awesome.”

Barker explains, “You know, it’s hard, because we would get home from a tour, and then Tom [DeLonge]’s side project would go out, his side project comes back, he’s back now, he’s ready to get in the lab, [and] I’m about to say, ‘Peace out, I’m about to do my thing.’ So it’s like, when we’re in a room together for more than a month or two, it’s gonna really happen.

I mean, up until the last album, every album was written in a week. All of us had ideas, we would come, we would get into a room, [and] we’d go, ‘OK, you want to write the album?’ And we’d write those songs, and then we’d record them the next week. Now ... we all have studios, we all have the luxury of staying home and doing it, and we don’t have to get into a room to get an idea out or pay for a studio. So a lot of it’s going down. Like, we’re working in separate studios, just really kind of working on music.”

Rock band Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has announced plans for his debut solo album and also reveal titled of this album is 'Give the Drummer Some' which will release on 15 March 2011.
The intensity wait album will feature artists including LIL WAYNE, THE GAME, SWIZZ BEATS and the RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE guitarist TOM MERLLO performs which track titled 'Carry It'.

Feature on this tracks are Elsewhere, CROOKED I, JOELL ORTIZ and JOE BUDDEN. Rapper LUDACRIS sings on another unspecified song.

Blink 182 have releasing six studio album despite it well release 'Give the Summer Some' its a first solo release.

Blink 182 and YOU ME AT SIX set for Liverpool tour date

Emo Brit rockers YOU ME AT SIX band are planning to prove their childhood dream when they famous the street with Blink 182 at this year.

The Surrey have five member they seen to landed as main support for the re-united Blink after meeting their idols at Leeds festival.

The band said that they were "unbelievably excited" to be hitting the street with Blink for the ten date tour which expired on July 1st in Manchester.

Blink 182 band said, “We are unbelievably excited to announce that we are supporting Blink 182 on their Arena tour this year. This fulfils all of our child dreams!"

The tour expected to sell out all over the country, comes to Liverpool on July 4th.
